About Me

I am a lover of many things, but I guess if I had to pick a Top 5; Theatre, New York, Movies, Swimming and my Husband would be among them... not necessarily in that order!

As Sting once sang - "I'm an alien, I'm a legal alien, I'm a English (wo)man in New York".

My love affair with New York City began when I was 19 years old when I came to study Modern Dance at the Martha Graham School. The city's passion for life and theatre got me hooked and I became a regular visitor, calling it my second home.

At the beginning of 2010 I decided to open things up, take a huge leap of faith and apply for my Green Card. It was the best decision I ever made.

I am a performer first and foremost, but my passions also include the passing on of knowledge and inspiring young dancers' minds. I am lucky enough to be on the Faculty at the Joffrey Ballet School, teaching theatre dance for the Jazz and Contemporary Program as well as The Young Dancer Program. There is nothing so uplifting as seeing new talent emerge in front of your eyes!

Being active and physical has always been a big part of my life, so discovering Flybarre here in New York has been the perfect union. A great work out, great people and a great company to work for!
